SUMMARY:10.14 A New Day - Reflections of a blakhat - s01e01
DESCRIPTION:https://blakhat.org/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/10.14.rbh_.mp3\n  \nFinding the Good Within Ourselves \nThere are times in life when we become so focused on what’s wrong with us that we forget to recognize what’s right. \nWe can be quick to recall our mistakes\, and slow to remember our accomplishments. We think about the people we’ve disappointed\, the opportunities we’ve missed\, and the things we wish we could go back and change. \nAnd somewhere along the way\, during those dark and stormy moments\, we begin to measure our worth by the things that haven’t gone according to plan. \nMy Brothers we are so much more than the mistakes we’ve made. \nEvery one of us has experienced disappointment. \nWe’ve said things we regret\, made decisions we wish we’d handled differently. We found ourselves in circumstances we never imagined. \nNone of those experiences tells the whole story of who we are. \nThink for a moment about the good you’ve brought into someone else’s life. \nWhen you helped a friend through a difficult time\, or you offered some kind words when someone needed encouragement. Or maybe\, you just showed up when somebody needed you. \nThose moments matter. \nAs men\, we sometimes measure ourselves by what we accomplish\, what we earn\, or how well we provide for the people around us. \nBut our value isn’t determined by our bank account\, our job title\, or the approval of others. \nOur true worth is reflected in the way we live our lives\, the way we treat the people around us\, and the character we demonstrate when nobody is watching. It’s found in our kindness\, our honesty\, our willingness to learn\, and our ability to care. \nToday\, instead of reminding yourself of everything you haven’t accomplished\, take a moment to recognize something good about yourself. \nYou don’t have to be perfect to be worthy of respect\, happiness\, or love. \nYou only have to be willing to recognize that there is goodness within you\, even on the days when it’s difficult to see. \nAnd sometimes\, finding that goodness is where a better life begins. \n  \n\n
